This is my second painting of my Benjamin. I painted it based on a picture I took of him.

Sorry for all the late comments, etc... I've been a bit inactive lately.
Romans 5:8, 10:9-10, and 1 John 4... are good.

I did my best, as it's a portrait of my baby
It took me 3-4 days to finish the painting, mostly because of the detailing. At first I did the background and then did a base coat and then did the eyes. It's so detailed because I did different layers of dark grey to black, starting from the lighter colors.. I used a 1 brush for most of the fur and sometimes used a 0 brush for even finer details. And I used a grey watercolor pencil over the darkest black bits.

I like the way the background turned out too!
I heard before that I kind of use watercolors as if I was using pencils.. I like using thin brushes, that's why the hair probably looks more dawn than painted.. I'd call it a painting.
I used a grey watercolor pencil to highlight the blackest bits and the whiskers and a white one to highlight the ears.
