I started painting again and I'm so happy about it. I did a base sketch last Thursday, did the background last Friday and I started working on the birdie today. It's gonna be another small, detailed portrait. the bird will be mainly done with a 0 brush, so you can imagine I almost paint the individual feathers..
I did the outline with brown waterproof ink.. and I shouldn't have done that. It's a bit too thick at places and it doesn't look the way I planned it, but I'm trying to make the best of it in the end.

The other good news is that I'm feeling a great deal better. I was still feeling ill on Saturday, but Sunday was better and I didn't feel too bad today either. My mom told me that one's mood plays an important role in falling ill, so I'm trying to be cheerful and get even better soon. Last night was the first night in the bast 4-5 days when I didn't have breathing difficulties and my nose wasn't blocked. I hope I'll sleep well tonight too.

The grape harvest of at my godmother's vineyard was re-scheduled to last Friday, so I couldn't go there, but I was quite relieved to find out.
